California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo (California Polytechnic State University, Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, or Cal Poly) is a public university in San Luis Obispo, California. It is one of three polytechnics in the California State University system.

The university is organized into six colleges offering 65 bachelor's and 39 master's degrees. Cal Poly San Luis Obispo primarily focuses on undergraduate education and as of fall 2020, Cal Poly had 21,447 undergraduate and 840 graduate students. The academic focus is on combining technical and professional curriculums with the arts and humanities. The university's athletic teams participate in the Big West Conference.
